1) Inspire You To Go For Your Dreams

The March sisters never allow others to make life decisions for them although they aren’t perfect girls and prone to making mistakes. Just like all of us. All four March sisters have their own dreams and goals, and the four of them work hard to achieve what they want. Meg always dream to be a good wife, Jo dreams to be a writer, Amy wants to be an artist. Even the gentle Beth also has strength in her. Although Beth doesn’t have dreams or life goals like her sisters, she still doesn’t allow others to make decisions for her to be happy. Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy have a passion to drive and to make their own happiness. Besides inspiring us to go for our dreams, the March sisters are also good-intentioned models for feminism[1]. Their story reflects the independence and autonomy of 19th century women, inspiring readers to fight for their own dreams and happiness, and not to succumb to the social and familial restrictions and expectations placed upon women's roles.

2) Inspiring Characters

"Little Women" is known for its inspiring characters, particularly the four March sisters – Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy. Each sister has her own unique personality and strengths, and their struggles and triumphs throughout the story inspire readers in various ways. the March sisters are inspiring because they each have their own unique strengths and challenges, but they support and love each other through it all. They are not perfect, but they are relatable and their struggles and triumphs are timeless and resonate with readers of all ages.

3) Appreciate Love

Reading Little Women makes you realized that love isn’t just one type. Love is not just between boyfriend and girlfriend. Alcott teaches us the unbreakable bond of sisterly love, mother-daughter love, family love, romantic relationship, and even friendship love. Alcott also teaches us that there is no perfect way to love someone, and there are so many ways to express love feelings to the person you love[2].

4) The Beauty of Classic Literature Writing

It explores the beauty of classic literary writing. Literature novels and modern times novels are different especially when it comes to the style of writing. Classic literature is often characterized by its complex and sophisticated narrative structures. "Little Women" employs a multi-perspective approach, with each chapter narrated from the point of view of a different sister. This allows for a nuanced exploration of each character's thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

5) Historical context

Louisa May Alcott's "Little Women" tells readers about the historical context of the mid-19th century. The novel is set during the Civil War period, which lasted from 1861 to 1865. This is evident from the references to the war throughout the book, including the fact that Mr. March, the girls' father, is serving as a chaplain in the Union Army. The impact of the war on the March family is also explored, such as their struggles to make ends meet and the sense of patriotism and sacrifice that pervades the book.
