Our psychological mentors have a rich knowledge of the human mind, and how to heal, change, and thrive. Reading For Love programs build off of the idea that reading and writing stories from the heart can greatly improve anyone’s life; our mentors thus provide insight into the potential for education as a self-care project.

Skylar is currently pursing a clinical psychology major at Teachers College, Columbia University. She is also a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, holding a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Brain Science. With her psychological background, Skylar has a unique approach to discovering each student's strengths and encouraging them to thrive

Emma is a first-year graduate student at Teachers College, Columbia University, majoring in Clinical Psychology. She specializes in English communications and psychological counseling, with a flexible mindset and strong problem-solving skills
